HWDA Tutor Vacancies

HWDA, a small charity set up in 1976, supports children with dyslexia and related issues. Workshops in Worcester, Hereford and Bromsgrove offer a  multi-sensory approach to teaching. We teach literacy, maths and study skills, we also run parent support groups. Through community events and articles we aim to increase awareness and knowledge of dyslexia.

There are currently a number of tutor vacancies available across the three Workshops. If you are passionate about supporting young people with dyslexia we would love to hear from you. These roles would suit qualified teachers, current or retired; those with experience supporting children with additional needs; those with a background in education or final year students studying for an education-based qualification with an interest training as a dyslexia specialist.

Please contact the Senior Tutor of the Workshop you are most interested in and they will be happy to have an informal chat about the role. Alternatively, you can contact HWDA President, Katrina Kear-Wood, president@hwda.org.uk , who would be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
